POST-MORTEM PRIVACY
ABOUT US
What material things would you leave behind if you were to suddenly exit stage left? Would the secrets hidden in your closet, under your bed, or in that one drawer negatively affect your image? Will your loved ones stand shooketh when they gaze upon your dirty laundry? Probably not...we are only human :)
Still, we at HYSJ believe your secrets should die with you. It is not a matter of shame, but of preserving some semblance of privacy...even in your absence.
A SIMPLE SOLUTION
To a Complex Problem
Post-mortem privacy is the concept that people have the right to control who, if anyone, will have access to their belongings after they die. It is based on the idea that privacy is not only a personal right, but also a part of human dignity that should be respected even after death. Post-mortem privacy can include items such as intimate clothing, adult toys, medical records, or anything else that one might not want to share with others. These items should be treated with discretion and sensitivity. Okay, but how?
We believe there is an argument to be made for simply identifying that which you want kept private. The people who will find our belongings will almost certainly be our family. A warning label would be all the dissuasion needed; because nobody wants to see their relative's compromising belongings.
Think of our labels as an appeal for privacy from beyond the grave; a simple and effective way to safeguard one's image and avoid unwanted exposure. We anticipate our trademarked logo will soon be synonymous with privacy, but until then, head over to the shop and choose your guardian.
